"We loved everything about this house and the marvelous staff. The house is set in a stunning garden with a spotless pool right on the beach at Gintota. The hpuae is beautifully appointed with 4 lovely bedrooms, a lounge, dining room and tv room. The staff were excerional and catered to all our needs. "Very friendly staff and helpful manager. Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing. Room (deluxe) very large and provided extra bed for kids. Short 10 min walk to galle fort. Room very clean and great housekeeping. Pool towels provided. Some minor maintenance issues could do with addressing around pool (tile grouting). "

The only think to be aware of is that the Villa is on a main road, and very close to the railway line which is very noisy throughout the night and did rather spoil our stay. Do not stay here

"Do not stay here, possibly one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was barely functional, the glass to the balcony was majorly cracked, the bathroom barely stocked with 1 towel and a tiny piece of soap, the fridge was dirty and broken, we had wires coming out of the wall where lights were suppose to be. The food at breakfast was disgusting, I asked for a clean table and they proceeded to seat us at a dirty table without any effort to clean it and left the previous guests dirty napkins! I honestly don’t understand how this hotel is supposedly 4 stars. It should be shutdown. "

Basic hotel in need of renovation

"This hotel is a bit run down, it feels pretty basic and needs renovations (very poor flooring). Location is not great, both for distance to the real point of interest, which is Galle's fort, and for being in front of a busy road which is very noisy although at night we slept well (ie no or little traffic at night). It can also be difficult to find taxis at that location unless you use tuk tuks which seem to have a bizarre monopoly in the area. Staff was very helpful though. "
