"When we arrived the doors to both bedrooms were closed. Upon opening the door into the main bedroom there was a disgusting very strong smell. It stayed for our entire 3 night stay but not as distinct as when I first opened the door. Other than that we had a lovely stay. "I have stayed at Somerville several times and always enjoyed it. Lovely garden. Walking distance from the city. Excellent breakfast. Staff / owners very friendly and helpful. Only slight negative is that sometimes it is difficult to park in the hotel car park, but there is not anything the owners can do about that! Forunately I was able to park nearby. I shall be back!"
