“We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we visit the area. It was a great value for what we paid. We had a bedroom, a loft bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room for the same price I've paid for a regular hotel room. The key is to go into it with your eyes open. The property is older and it shows. There were dings in the furniture and the decor was outdated. “The front counter service was nice. The room and bed were comfortable and clean. Headboard could have been dusted but other than that it was really nice. Bathroom was clean but water took a long time to heat up. Toilets were outdated so it used too much water. The breakfast was inadequate. Only one container of oatmeal and some yogurt were there and that was not replenished from the night before. The coffee was good but my spouse doesn't drink it and there was no tea or juice. “We came for Valentine's weekend and the owners were kind enough to leave all kinds of special treats like sweets, cheese and crackers, drinks, and flowers. The home is very relaxing. It was raining so we stayed in and enjoyed the fireplace, TV and lots of relaxation which was needed. The accommodation had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Enjoyed it!”

“While I was on a business trip I specifically selected it to have down time away from work. Mission accomplished with added bonus of listening and seeing wildlife arise at sunrise over my morning coffee. Very cute, comfortable and cozy plus had everything I needed or I was only 10-15 minutes away from anything missing.”

The cabin was adorably decorated for Christmas with a tree and perfect for exceeding our expectations with the grands anticipating Santa.
