「This is above a pub 2 minutes from the station. Eaglescliffe is a nice place to stay though there isn't much around the station to look at. The hotel is a bit basic but clean and good value for money.」

「Arrived and they didn’t have the room - 」

「I found hotel nice clean no friles tv did not work no coffee or tea or milk but did have a ketle and two cups and no on sweat forcilites just a sink in room therr eas a barth and toilet just down hall which was Clean which was no problime to me I had a grate sleep in bed the next time I go to redcar i will be stopping at the same hotel just loved it thanks for having me there.」

「This place is not what is shown on Expedia. It is now a hostel for social housing. We were told they do not advertise on Expedia any more. But they let us pay and check in without telling us about the changes. We immediately checked out but have had to wait for a refund. 」

「Great just what u exspected 」

「When I arrived there was no one to show me to my room. I phoned the number on my booking but they could not find any record of me having booked with the itinerary number I was given. They gave me another number to call, eventually they found the booking and said ‘the man is coming’. This turned out to be a maintenance man who was very unwell (flu I presume). He showed me a double room but the toilet was broken, a sign in the door saying do not use. I asked for an alternative room with a working...

「Skipton Lodge was absolutely spotless. Clearly newly refurbished it was modern and had everything one could need. It was nice to walk into a warm house, and we felt very comfortable there.」
