“Fantastic place for a work retreat, more privacy than I've ever experienced at a rental with acres of woods and a gated entrance. It was unusually hot for June, but there was still plenty of space and activities inside during the mid-day heat. Whether you're into fishing, canoeing/kayaking, sunbathing, campfires, board games, foosball/pool, hiking, or swimming, there are activities for everyone. I took the kayak out each morning to fish, ended up catching a bunch of bluegill and a few small……

“We really enjoyed our stay here. House was clean with an open floor plan on the first floor. Kitchen very well stocked. Beds are comfortable and the extra half bath on the first floor is practical. We hiked to a nearby waterfall and enjoyed the local brewery scene. The pup was welcome and enjoyed the occasional frolic on the golf course when it wasn’t in use! ”

“We had a great time even in the rain. Nice and quiet, just a short drive to restaurants, apple orchards, waterfalls and trails. Rustic looking on the outside with modern kitchen and bathroom inside. We will definitely go back. ”

“Such a beautiful and relaxing get away. The home and property are super well maintained and we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed wandering around the property and even got to experience a storm as we sat on the front porch. So much fun that we didn't even want to leave the property during our stay. Definitely 5 stars!”

“Stayed the night with my wife for our anniversary. Cabin was prefect. Stopped at the brewery’s on 151 on the way to and headed to Crabtree falls the next morning. Cabin is in a great location. Will return”

“This tiny house is so relaxing and beautiful. The walk to the lake is a very easy short distance. Everything is exactly as listed. There are plenty of snacks available and the bed was super comfortable. The towels and linens were fresh and crisp. The host Steve is extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with. We were sad the hot tub was not available; however, we were so busy it was all good. We did visit the Hill Top Berry Winery and several others which were all lovely. We hope to stay……

“Deer Runs is a lovely cabin surrounded by forest. The tall hard wood trees fill the air with the best smell. I did not want to leave. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the best sleep on a most wonderful bed. The great window by table was mesmerizing. There was so much to see. And, I love the sound of water. It was everywhere . I took my hiking sticks and this 63 year old went down the trail to the river. Steep but, I did it fine. This place seems magical. ”
