“Family reunion to get 3 sisters together. My Mother-in-Law is 90 and we drove to VA so she can visit with her 88 and 80 year old sisters. We did have an issue wtih the 2 statements below provided in an email on 9Sept2024, which is after the window for cancelation. The homeowner isn't just next door, they are adjoining, which isn't clear in the description. It is also not shown in the pictures. We expected quiet time for morning coffee outdoors, instead we were able to hear the homeowner on……

“Sherry and Mark have a beautiful home that we were lucky enough to book. There was plenty of space for family, great outdoor grill, and a spacious open kitchen area. Would definitely book again. Thank you Sherry and Mark!”

“Great place but was not aware the of how close the other houses were. The cabin behind us which was called "exceeds expectations" was very loud playing music until 3 am. We were not happy about that. Other than that, it was a nice place. Enjoyed the hot tub!”

“Property was exactly as expected. Everything was clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We especially enjoyed the outside space including the deck and fire pit. It was conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, hiking trails and Deep Creek Lake. ”

“Pros: Good location, quiet neighborhood with lots of deer, nice supply of start-up toiletries. Partial A/C was enough to keep house cool during heatwave. Comfortable master bed with its own A/C vent. Cons: Need a 4-wheel drive to navigate some steeple crush & run roads. House has small water tank, and owner wants renters to wait 30 minutes between shower use. Kitchen is very bare bones - bring your own cleaning supplies, foil, very few pans. Some safety concerns if need to take your pet outside……
