“We stayed one night (2nd November) to attend the Guy Fawkes Bridgwater Carnival. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean and bed comfortable.”
“The staff were absolutely excellent with warmth and helpfulness throughout. The building is old and so the hotel isn’t modern but it is charming. Food was excellent and the bar pleasant and comfortable. The leisure facilities were lovely. Overall a very relaxing and peaceful stay. ”
“The hotel was great realy... our only moan is the steep staircase to the second floor, where unfortunately for us was where our room was. We are both elderly. Other than that it was a lovely place with lovely staff and a great breakfast.”
“What friendly staff!!! Everyone was so helpful and chatty. Lovely menu with daily specials, chef's specials and normal pub grub. Nice atmosphere too as it is down a country lane, but locals were eating and drinking there. Will stay there again the next time we are in the areaQ”
“I love this hotel. Its has such a cosy feel, its always very clean and even though its next to the train station, noise is never an issue. Breakfast was also delicious. ”
“Lovely little hotel, pleasant stay with very friendly staff. Breakfast was very tasty, even our little dachshund got a sausage which he thoroughly enjoyed! We will certainly be back. ”
“An old and characterful property on the high street of Dunster so everything is walkable. Car park entrance is narrow and not suitable for anything other than a small saloon. I recommend parking in the pay and display 1/4 mile away. Worth the £6.10”
“Loved this place! Only downside was arriving in the dark… there’s no reception and very little lighting so we had to knock on a nearby yurt and fortunately they knew where ours was!
That aside, have already recommended to friends. ”
“Lovely hotel with friendly hosts, very accommodating with dogs. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Room comfortable but a lower floor would have been preferable with the dog.”
