“Booking was confirmed instantly. I didn’t have to do the whole wait 24hrs deal. Upon arrival everything was great we followed the instructions getting in and they are very simple. The room was great everything looks brand new. Felt right at home with our crew. Will be back again. Thanks Debbie! ”

“Cool listing! An old converted boiler room of a rural school. In a mountain valley so didn't have cell signal for calls, but I was able to text and check email etc when connecting my phone to the wifi. Full bathroom and equipped kitchen including coffee maker and refrigerator. Everything was clean and had plenty of linens and towels. Location was easy to get to local landmarks like the Brushy State Prison. Slept very well with the wall AC keeping a steady comfortable temp and very quiet……

“Hot and cold temp is backwards in shower. Bed was also smaller than expected and ac didn’t work well cause it said it had a dirty filter”

“We have booked the bunkhouses many times and love it there. The owners are always wonderful to work with and always responds to any and all questions in a very timely manner. Can’t wait till the next trip.”

“Old Elementary School renovated into full overnight accommodations at New River SXS trails and Windrock Trails. Raymond, the 85 year old retired coal miner is the live in caretaker. It’s worth going to hear him tell about the history of the area going back to the 1930’s!”

“It was fine other than the bunkhouse lacked sufficient items needed for the stay. Silverware etc… no glasses. Salt/pepper, paper towels not enough toilet paper.”

“Overall, an aging condo with some upgrades. Worked fine for our visit, but on the expensive side. Addressing issue mentioned in other reviews: 1) Someone attempted to clean the carpets with cleaner that bleached some areas. 2) The top bathroom vent did not work, the others did. 3) We were off-season so didn't need AC but heat, which was fine except even with the fan set to ON, the upstairs rooms were warm while the first floor was still cool.”
