“Thanksgiving was a peaceful time of the year to visit Virginia Beach. The condo was lovely and well kept. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and Saran Wrap/foil (we brought our own but it was nice t have available. The host was very responsive to my questions when we first arrived. Front desk was kind and helpful. ”

“The fact our place was not a 10 story hotel with the boardwalk and lights between the ocean and our room made this place ideal! We were the first place off the end of the boardwalk so there were minimal people walking by our place as well as providing a totally unobstructed view of the ocean. We didn't want lots of bells and whistles such as bars, restaurants, exercise rooms, etc. We did not see another place with such an ideal, relaxing setting as we were provided. We would highly recommend……

“We did a quick weekend mother-daughter getaway to tube and ski. The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed. The decor is dated but, honestly, we thought it added to the charm. We also had plenty of firewood for cozy fires. Overall, we had a lovely time and created some sweet memories here. Note: Bring some K-cups for your morning coffee because the Exxon down the road didn't have them. ”

“It doesn’t get better than this for location at wintergreen. Especially if you’re traveling with teens who can swing in and out for snacking and getting warm at will. Host was wonderful and very communicative. Only had a couple of issues. The light over the stove wasn’t working but I’m sure they’ll have replaced that by next visitors. One thing to be cautious of is that the stove vent is one of those microwave vents above the stovetop that was so prevalent in the 80s/early 90s. If you’re searing……

“So for those of you asking “how far from the slopes?” It is literally 90 paces (for a 5’5” momma) from door around the unit, to put on your skis. Easy peasy. You want to cook for your kiddos? it’s all there. Coffee set up, 3 pans of varying sizes, glassware to cook brownies. Tupperwares to store stuff during your stay. Bring a cooler and plan meals because the close resort store (your paying for convenience) is super pricey (10 for a carton of ice cream) .The massage chair will make you want to……
