“Although the weather was not perfect, we had a delightful holiday here. Tony, the hotel owner, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He provided us with a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and activities. However, the hotel staff would need additional professional training. During our first hour at the hotel, I sustained an injury while attempting to borrow a surfboard. The staff appeared unfamiliar with how to unhook the surfboard, resulting in an accident that caused……

“Very comfortable. Good internet. Well groomed grounds and friendly staff. A wonderful experience. Away from the hustle of town, can catch regular buses from a short distance walk away for the five minutes car travel into town. ”

“The apartments are great for a family of 4, spacious, proper size fridge and kitchen equipped to cook. The last time we stayed we had a room that had views of lagoon from both bedrooms and lounge (rooms 1/2/3 I think) whereas this time it was a view of the lagoon just from bedroom and outside seating area - but still lovely. I was thankful for aircon in master bedroom but it meant it was a bit warm in the other bedroom and lounge (but the kids coped fine). My husband enjoyed going for a kayak.……

“It is quite a nice experience to have stayed there for 10 days. The owners and the staffs there were really friendly, and responded to my requests immediately. The door nub was not working well, but I have no problem leaving my stuff in the room while I was away for meetings. It is a bit far from downtown, and after 9pm it is quite a challenge to get a bus to go back to that direction. However it has a really nice restaurant, and the rib eye there is the best I have ever had.”

“Coco Beach resort is a small, quiet and local property. It’s out of town which is great if you are after a quiet experience, and you can snorkel the reef in front of the property. Negatives are the road from town (holes and potholes). The cost of food at the restaurant is also pretty high. If you have expectations of an international chain style accommodation, you will be disappointed. However it is a lovely, basic resort which is warm and welcoming.
