“Everything was great. I did not realize this was a B and B when I originally booked this stay so to say it was perfect is an understatement. We arrived late after delays and 35 hours of travel and were welcomed with great hospitality.. The homemade breakfast was delicious and the bed was so comfortable. It is a short drive to all the things in Kilkenny. I would highly recommend. ”

“We had a lovely one night stay recently for a wedding we were attending in the rivercourt hotel, it was amazing value for money. The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Such a great stay we will definitely be back again. Denise & James. ”

“Great location and has everything you could want in a hotel. We did get rooms that did not have air conditioning or an elevator( it was unseasonably warm when we went in March) but we opened the windows and there was a fan in the wardrobe and it felt great. Staff helped us carry our luggage upstairs. Very nice rooms. Do make sure you bring an adapter if you are from the US. Definitely would stay here again.”

“The staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out. The morning breakfast in the White Oak Room was pretty good with a varied menu. The 2 bars were fine. Average bar food. The location was great. Within walking distance of everywhere including plenty of pubs, restaurants, tourist locations etc. etc. The public areas of the hotel were in pretty good shape and well kept. But the rooms were pretty old and dated. Especially the bathrooms which had one of those……

“Stayed for a family’s anniversary, such a lovely place to stay, had fresh scones and cakes with butter and milk for us on arrival and all the things we needed for a cup of tea or coffee. Well equipped with toiletries and lovely and warm. ”
