"There is nothing unique about this Hotel. The owner has to renovate this establishment. It’s not a place for humans. It’s totally runned down. The car bets are stained all over the place. The lobby is dirty, the sofas are stained, you cannot sit on them. In the rooms the curtains are stained, torn, no blinds. The condition of every furniture is bad, needs fixing or get new. The food is served in a old people home dyining room. Looks like the fifties, or a senatorium in the former USSR. The food...

"lovely location. breakfast had a huge variety of choices. one small challenge was information. i asked about boat trips, went to the activity desk, who said they weren't running, who sent me back to the front desk, who gave me a bus timetable. every time I asked a question I was handed more paper. this was after a 15 minute long check in where they explained random hotel details. "The rooms are quite outdated, but I go here for the onsen and beautiful view it offers of the green hills in the gorge area. Hearing the river is an extra bonus. The onsen area is well kept and been remodeled a bit. The rooms need work, but the important points- comfortable bed and good heating/AC unit are great."

"Ten-ippou hut was spacious, clean, and beautiful. Though we only stayed a night, it is well-eppuippdd for long stays, given you pick up groceries prior to arriving. Acessibility to the general area is a bit of a challenge. The kitchen has all necessities plus more. The bath is good-sized with all toiletry basics, laundry space with separate toilet/bidet.
