“A very peaceful, serene setting right by the river. The cabin itself is quite charming. Outdoor shower (overlooking the river) is wonderful. The owner (Steve) was friendly and helpful. The WiFi reception is very very sketchy. We loved our stay.”

The hosts/owners have gone above and beyond to make sure the home is stocked with everything you may need. They even have items that you may have forgotten to bring for yourself. “We had an incredibly enjoyable and wonderful time here. Everything was excellent and perfect, except that the sofa cushions were a bit too soft, causing some back pain. It’s a pleasant stay!”

“Overall it is fine cabin. Kitchen was updated. Getting heat circulated in the cold weather was difficult. Space heaters would have been nice especially since the heat is located only in living room and kitchen areas. There was one but it did not work. Anyone with mobility issues would have issues at this house as the stairs going upstairs (to the nicer bathroom) are very steep. Little kids would be a challenge as the stairs would be scary for them to use. Plenty of beds for everyone but if……

“We enjoyed the stay. Overall, it was a nice stay. The hosts were great to deal with and willing to work with us regarding our stay. Thank you!! The bed and sheets were comfortable. The down sides, there was mouse poop in the oven drawer on the pans. There were cobb webs around inside and a bunch on the furniture in the enclosed deck. We had to clean the furniture before sitting and table to enjoy the enclosed area. No spiders, so they had been there a while. A little more cleaning……
