「I booked this beautiful Cabin for my husband and I to get away for his birthday. We wanted a spot close enough to the hot springs, and in nature, this was the perfect spot. The Host was very responsive and provided great information for the area as soon as we booked. Gorgeous views of the river from anywhere in the house, my favorite spots were the window nooks. If we are back in the area we would definitely book again, and hoping to bring family next time, as there was more than enough space...

「A very peaceful, serene setting right by the river. The cabin itself is quite charming. Outdoor shower (overlooking the river) is wonderful. The owner (Steve) was friendly and helpful. The WiFi reception is very very sketchy. We loved our stay.」

「The lovely location in the woods near Blue River, and overlooking the McKenzie River was a sweet getaway. Lots of games, books, and movies to keep you busy if the weather has you stuck indoors. Nice extras include a massage chair, well stocked Keurig, and outdoor fire pit. I’d stay here again.」

「One word... WOW! We needed a place to stay for 2 nights, close to Loloma Lodge for a wedding event, and we left wanting to stay for the rest of week!! It was a quaint and cozy home plus the roaring river was peaceful!! This is a little piece of Heaven!!」

「The location and property were incredible! The access to the resort without being part of the resort was convenient and nice. My two complaints are that the one fan in the whole place barely blows air and the drain in the hot springs tub was annoyingly loud. The drain was just a minor annoyance though.」

「I wanted to celebrate my 50th in my favorite spot in Oregon. The Whiskey Rock Cabin did not disappoint. The cabin was beautiful, clean & cozy. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck while watching the river roll by and cards in the evening next to the fire. My only complaint is we had to leave it behind to return to reality. We had a great time and will definitely be back. 」

「Very lovely house. The only thing we did not like was the deck was in the sun from 10:00am - 7:00pm. It was hot and could not enjoy the deck. Could use an awning or some umbrellas.」

「Overall it is fine cabin. Kitchen was updated. Getting heat circulated in the cold weather was difficult. Space heaters would have been nice especially since the heat is located only in living room and kitchen areas. There was one but it did not work. Anyone with mobility issues would have issues at this house as the stairs going upstairs (to the nicer bathroom) are very steep. Little kids would be a challenge as the stairs would be scary for them to use. Plenty of beds for everyone but if...

「This home is excellent. Located right on the beautiful McKenzie River. The property is exactly as advertised. The hosts/owners have gone above and beyond to make sure the home is stocked with everything you may need. They even have items that you may have forgotten to bring for yourself. We will definitely be returning for another stay. 」
