“The interior and the garden are very pleasant. The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. Those sleeping in the double room found the room too hot, and noisy with passing traffic. It was impossible to use Netflix. On……

“First, the cottage was just perfect! Very clean. Nice, big kitchen complete with all the basics needed for cooking and a table for 4. Fridge was large enough for the two of us and had a small freezer compartment. Large entry area which was perfect for storing golf clubs. Bedroom was large and had a queen bed, twin bed, and wardrobe. Lounge was also very big and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious with tub/shower. Excellent water pressure and quick to get hot water. “Great property. Awesome location on one of St Andrews two major streets with shops, pubs and restaurants. The Saint pub/restaurant shares a wall with Cowpers. Great food. Get a rez. “This house was amazing, really spacious with a huge well-equipped living/kitchen/dining room. Great views of the harbour and the sea, really comfy sofas, a huge tv screen and a large dining table. Bathrooms were large and modern (there was a problem with the showers but I'm sure that will be addressed). “We had 4 people staying on the first night. Everyone was very comfortable but the loft space did allow sound to travel from downstairs. We enjoyed the patio and beautiful views of the forth. We cooked a meal on the third day and made full use of the well appointed kitchen. The only issue we had was the lack of toilet brush and that we couldn't get the washing machine to drain. The host's solution to this (send more towels) would not have been practical on a longer stay. Very pleasant……
