“The property is close to the beach and other amenities. It’s well set out and nicely appointed. The host is very attentive and great with communication.”

“The location is beautiful. Villas face the estuary and the units are well separated so they’re quiet. It’s an easy walk to the river mouth and Ocean Beach. There’s lots of nature - birds, swans, pelicans, kangaroos and a farm next door with cows. Great that dogs are allowed. Unfortunately internet connection is weak but it’s good to disconnect for awhile.”

“We could not fault our stay in Villa 1 facing the beautiful vines and overhanging the gorgeous lake. We kept repeating how tranquil this place is as the ripples in the lake reflect onto the balcony ceiling while we swayed in the hammock and watched the stars (they even had telescopes!!). The bed is hands down the comfiest bed we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be staying again and hopefully for even longer next time! ”

“We had such a lovely winter stay at Ombak Beach Villa. Lovely property, close drive to Margaret River and close walk to the beach and the fabulous White Elephant Cafe (delicious breakfasts with an outstanding view!). Perfect for our family of 4 - everyone particularly loved the cozy fire place and comfortable bedrooms. Very responsive property manager, everything was so easy! Thanks for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back!”

“A comfortable and well located unit.Second bedroom was hot without fan or air con.Outside area needed cleaning - lounges outside had cobwebs on them. ”

“Great place to stay, perfect location on the canals and close to the centre. The host was great with communication and information. The house was fully equipped with everything you could need and wonderfully presented. A great place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.”

“We had a fabulous short break at Banksia villa. Would certainly recommend and would have no hesitation in returning next time we visit Margaret River.”

“Beautiful accomodation, the only things was we could not open the Alfresco door in the dinning room to enter the Alfresco as the door was key locked. we asked how we could unlock the door and we were told the key was in the lockbox which we were never given the code for even when we asked.”

“The property was well appointed, everything you could need, certainly for our few days. It is centrally located for the town itself, and the wider area. We've had a great few days.... Finally, any communication with the host has been excellent...not always the case ”
