“Staying at Owl's Landing was an absolute dream! Denine was so prompt with sending information ahead of our visit as well as answering any questions we had. She was also so considerate in letting us know of any activities happening around the house so we weren't caught off guard. The place was wonderful! A perfect place for relaxation. The access to the beach was quick and easy, and the restaurant recommendations were spot on! We will definitely be back!”

“Was a great location next to beach and beach access restaurants shops etc but had separate 1 bedroom lock off apartment from street that was not provided and only had three bedrooms available not 4 as listed. Bedding fixtures bathrooms all dated and worn.”

“This little 1st floor apartment had everything we needed. Pool, hot tub and pets allowed. Walking distance to the beach and close to Duck. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. We’ll definitely be back! ”

“This house was located in a beautiful established neighborhood in Southern Shores and we had access to a dock right on the sound. 4 spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms. Lots of space inside and out for everyone to spread out. Was disappointed with the condition of the back deck and deck furniture.needs some TLC to make it enjoyable. Furniture was broken, decking was splintery and planters had weeds and overgrowth instead of flowers. I understand you can’t really stop Spiders and Palmetto……

“Being that it was late October and pretty much the end of the vacation season some of the issues we encountered were understandable. The property was easy to find. located a short drive to Duck and Kittyhawk. The neighborhood was very quiet. When we first entered, we noted a mix of musty/bleach odor and a few dead palmetto bugs on the floor. The rooms were decorated nicely. The beds were a little too soft for my liking and a bit worn in. There were plenty of blankets for the colder nights. The……

“I had a lovely, relaxing and quiet stay at John's property. It's located on a beautiful cul de sac that backs up to a canal - saw a Snowy Egret looking for frogs twice. The trees around the yard are full of singing birds. It's a great location without all the traffic and noise of the beach. Really comfortable bed and living room. I'm sure I'll be back.”
