“It was a great experience. The hotel is only 2 minutes walk to the beach, a wonderful location to see the sunrise. The room was clean and equipped with everything needed. The front desk, Jennifer as I remember, was very helpful. She waited for our late check-in and got everything ready. When we needed a kettle, she didn’t bother to find one for us even though it was time to go home. We feel so sorry that we forgot to leave tips before we checked out. “Great older but clean property to stay at before our cruise. You get what you pay for and more than the typical hotel. No, it’s not your standard hotel. No standard reception lobby and the staff are in and out at varying times. If you don’t read the hotel information and the reviews you will be upset if you arrive in the late afternoon or evening as you will find no lobby or staff, but they do give you detailed information in your booking app or email on how to access your room. “What an incredible place!! They were affected by the storms, but put all the work in to make this one of the nicest places we’ve been to in awhile. All the furniture and appliances, stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher were brand new. It was supplied with dishes, all the cookwear and utensils. Parking is a bit tight, but that would be the only issue here. They have a wonderful common area with plenty of seating and a couple grills. About a block and a half from the beach. They also……

“Definite hurricane damage but the staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable. Private beach with beach chairs provided. Located next to a jet ski rental which was great. The main pool is not back and running yet but there is still one to use. Very very clean room”
