“Great host and a comfortable cottage to stay for a couple of nights. Handy location to main roads and an easy walk into town. A lovely back garden to sit and enjoy the birdlife.”

“Everything was good apart from trying to find the inn on arrival. We were informed that Bower Lane was closed and spent 30 minutes driving around the local housing estates! Breakfast service was very slow, but found out the pilot light in the kitchen had gone out. Room was great. ”

“Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again. ”

“Excellent place we stayed during the storm, had travelled to see the Christmas markets which were sadly cancelled so we spent it in the jacuzzi which was sooooo lovely, even the children loved it, lovely area, close to all you need, and lovely staff, definitely stay there again! ”

“The food in the restaurant was absolutely outstanding such a lovely venue and friendly staff, the rooms were beautifully presented however being such an old building it wasn’t noise proof so we could every movement during the night with squeaky floorboards and doors being banged, would stay again though.”

“Amazing hotel and the staff were great, could not of been more helpful after a last minute booking at 9pm after the original hotel we booked (The Crossways) was totally unacceptable to stay in due to our room being directly above the speakers for a Christmas Party they were hosting. Noise in the room was so loud no one would of been able to sleep and given we had a 6 year old child with us even more shocking they put us in that room. Room was spacious and comfy, location was amazing as we had……
