“We've stayed here before the pub is in the town center with free parking. Rooms are dated but clean, double usb sockets on bedside lamp (nice touch). Staff are polite and friendly. Nice cheap accommodation in the heart of malton. Busy karaoke bar but not too noisy in the room. Will stay again. ”

“On arrival service was spot on, the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The only slight negative was the amount of time needed for hot water to reach the shower. My evening meal was good quality and reasonably priced, beer was good and the breakfast was also good quality and well cooked. I would definitely stay here next time I’m in the area. ”

“Convenient location close to the A64 and a number of Yorkshire attractions. My room was in an annexe building at the top of the car park. All was bright, clean and warm. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Ample tea and coffee in the room. Strong free WiFi. Room on the small side and bathroom tiny though adequate. “Perfect location next to the pub which does fantastic food. Very high end cottage in both style & comfort, very clean too & having a courtyard for the dogs was great as we could sit outside with them. Would definitely stay again. ”

“We stayed with our young son for 3 nights in July 2024. The staff were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed and great with interacting with our young son. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed……

“From start to finish….. absolutely fantastic… the owners went above and beyond for us. Excellent customer service, clean tidy, rooms were pristine, we ate there on the evening… the chicken burger was lush… and a hefty portion size. Was definitely enough to share.
