“Before I came to Madeira, I was a little worried that maybe it would let me down. But when j arrived this island, the Sunshine the sea made me so happy! I like this hotel so much, peaceful and beautiful! from the hotel. You can see the sea! The beautiful view! And five star service! And the bar has performance on Thursday! It's really nice! And you can enjoy your breakfast and lunch near the sea! The design of hotel is perfect and there is also a nog beautiful swimming pool and gym! I like it!”

“We were very irritated with the parking situation. There is no onsite parking. Upon checking in we were given two public locations that we can use which were roughly a quarter a mile away. There were no in and out privileges. The parking venue operating hours weren’t convenient for us as we had an early departure flight. Street parking was limited and during our stay, we never found a spot. They were either reserved or occupied. We contemplated moving to another location, but after realizing……

“The food at the buffet was excellent. Lots of choices. Fresh fruit and salads and a great selection of fish and meats and vegetarian options. Staff are very friendly. It is just west of Funchal so a little quieter but walked into Old Town and had a rental car to explore the island. Lots of great hiking in Madeira. I will come back!!!!”

“Beautiful ocean setting. Fantastic breakfast buffet with outdoor seating. Upgrade or splurge on a second floor room. The first floor pool /ocean view is practically non-existent if you are sitting on the balcony as you are looking into the wall. Easy enough to move to pool chairs through. The front desk employee, Marilin, was awesome. Super freindly and helpful. ”

“Very nice hotel. Rooms are showing a little bit of wear and tear but very clean. Breakfast buffet fit for a king! Great outdoor pool, but not heated so it was rather cold in November. Indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna were also great. I just wished they would not close at 8pm. After hiking the lavadas, and dinner we really had to hustle to be able to use these facilities for at least a little bit. Definitely would stay again.”
