“Everything about this cottage was arranged with thought and good taste, including simple decorations, furniture, and kitchen items. We instantly felt at home, except more relaxed, not being surrounded by our own chores and to-do lists! It was easy to walk to restaurants and shops by crossing the charming covered bridge. In the other direction I found the Art Center and a beautiful park, and a second footbridge to the Library and History Museum. Highlights of our trip were the Silverton Holiday……

Soaking in the hot tub in a cool gentle rain then warming up in the luxurious shower and cuddling up in the huge comfortable bed were exactly what we needed. “A beautiful spot right on the creek, so peaceful after a long day at work. Feels like you’re at a camp getaway with all the comforts of home. This is in a main neighborhood of Salem, but that was perfect for us. My teens loved the space and quiet and we really enjoyed the 2 bathrooms and fireplace. I’m sure the deck would get a lot of use in warmer weather. Beds are very comfortable. The condo is kind of old school and I really enjoyed that. ”

“The Treehouse is really cozy, and the area is pretty quiet. It is certainly a unique place to enjoy a winter storm, and the property is secluded for the most part. The hostess is great, and the place was clean and comfortable. The directions to get there on a GPS can get a bit wonky, but just keep driving down the driveway, you'll get there. Also, the wifi is a bit spotty, FYI. We had a great time here and would recommend it. It's great for two people, threes a crowd. ”
