“Everything about this cottage was arranged with thought and good taste, including simple decorations, furniture, and kitchen items. We instantly felt at home, except more relaxed, not being surrounded by our own chores and to-do lists! It was easy to walk to restaurants and shops by crossing the charming covered bridge. In the other direction I found the Art Center and a beautiful park, and a second footbridge to the Library and History Museum. Highlights of our trip were the Silverton Holiday……

“A very tranquil and relaxing setting just a few miles from downtown. The owners were very nice and all the little touches like fresh baked cookies was welcoming. It was very comfortable and homey, which is what my wife wanted. There is no TV or closet per se for clothes so if you really want to unwind this is a good place to do it.”

“We were very pleased with the cottage and our stay. Michelle was very communicative throughout the process and the cottage was well-stocked with commonly needed items (we appreciated the stain remover on this trip, not something you'd find at every property!). The main stretch of Newberg is very walkable from this property and we enjoyed its proximity to many of the local wineries/vineyards during this trip.”

“we walked into town for coffee, shopping, dinner and to use the post office. there are 2 grocery stores in walking distance as well. the home is big & really has all you need; quite cozy. the only thing we needed was more full length mirrors - a bunch of us trying to get ready for a wedding at the same time but only 1 mirror was a little hectic. a little more artwork would be nice, but didnt impact our stay. we would stay here again.”

“We cannot say enough nice things about this property. Every possible thing you could want has been thought of and is readily available. Leigh is wonderful and gave a great run down of the house. She said that if we needed anything, to just ask, but we truly never needed to bother her. A great place to relax between wine tastings. Hang out in the hot tub, or relax by a fire in the living room. Just wonderful ambience no matter where you decide to hang out. Should we even end up staying new……

Great location, very walk-able, short drive to Dundee and Newberg for some great wine tasting. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent restaurant, La Rambla, just below the location so very convenient. A bit of traffic noise as you are in the heart of town and only a block from the main drag but overall very quiet,……
