Well done Front of House, always a warm friendly welcome. Bar staff, you’re all amazing, Breakfast crew, nothings a problem. Take my hat off to the speed and efficiency you look after the masses.”

“I love the Malmaison and have been coming here for years. However, the rooms are in need of a some love and attention. The furniture is worn and the bathrooms have seen better days. Still a great hotel in an amazing location just needs some well deserved investment. Also the restaurant menu is a little restrictive which meant we had to eat out both nights. Staff fantastic as ever. ”

“Welcome drinks gives a good first impression. Although no air conditioning, hotel offers fan for ventilation and that's okay for night temperture of below 20 degrees. Location close to city centre with lots of pubs and restaurants around.”

“Friendly and efficient reception, lovely large and comfortable room, good pizza restaurant. We had a great view too. No complaints at all, would definitely come back. Only thing to note is the shower is part of the main room. It's mostly frosted, but still weird to me. I hate that, but many people won't mind. ”

“Soundproof isn’t quiet good, especially on Saturday night when there were too many drunk ladies, they came back super late, very loud, also they tried to open my door, many times, 3am to 4am, I didn’t sleep at all.”

“Stayed here in May on a Thursday night. Booked a room in the main hotel, after seeing reviews that some people ended up in a different building. There was a bit of faff about parking (not enough spaces for all the guests, so I had to be blocked in) but aside from that I thought it was a great room for a low price. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, with modern fittings. It was quiet and had a great night's sleep! Definitely exceeded my expectations.”

“I have over 30 years of travel experience across different countries and have never encountered a hotel as terrible as this one! The pillows at this hotel are extremely soft, and even though we were provided with four pillows for the two of us, they were so soft that we couldn't sleep well. The room was very cold, and despite setting the temperature higher, it still blew cold air. Eventually, we turned off the air conditioning, but it still felt very cold (the temperature that night was 7……
