“We enjoyed our time in this cottage so much last spring that we booked it again for this spring. The cottage is minutes away from the Missisquoi National Wildlife Reserve and Lake Champlain boat launch. There is so much to do here and it’s perfect for people who enjoy fishing, kayaking, birding, or walking nature trails. The cottage was very clean and thoughtfully appointed. We’ll be back.”

“My wife and adult daughter and I stayed here for six nights in mid-May. We had a great time. It's right on the water at Lake Champlain, 50 minutes from Burlington, Vermont, 90 minutes from Montreal, 50 minutes from Plattsburgh, N.Y. The house is very comfortable and airy, with lots of space, including two dining areas, living room with TV, deck facing the lake and screened-in porch with gas grill. “Good value for money, within easy walking distance of restaurants etc. Place very tidy, clean, and comfortable. However, regular cleaning charge really jacks up the cost for a one-night stay, which is very reasonable for multi-day stay. Main issue is that access from door is down steep steps with low headroom. Difficult to manage -- especially with baggage -- not good for people who aren't limber! Small issue: Somehow, keurig user that I am, I failed to get the coffee maker to function……

“Beautiful, comfortable cottage on Lake Champlain with incredible view of sunsets! Although small, we spent most of our time on the screened porch (when we weren’t golfing). All over very clean, kitchen had everything we needed. Spacious outside shower (very private) was amazing especially since we had 90F heat wave! All in all our 5 day stay was wonderful, thanks Dave! We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that.”

“Our son goes to UVM and felt like exploring the area beyond Burlington. This was the perfect location for us to make day trips to bike the Colchester Causeway, get fresh apple Cider, take walks by the lake and see Montreal. The cottage is cozy and cute with lots of thoughtful touches, including robes, slippers, toiletries, local snacks and more. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who our son no doubt missed more than us! Highly recommend!”

“We loved this rental and our trip to the lake was perfect! The cabin was clean, the instructions from the host were easy, and the views of the lake were stunning. We spent the days swimming and enjoyed the fire pit each night. Being so close to the water was one of our favorite parts of the trip. “Location on the lake is beautiful. Sort of far from st albans 15-30 mins drive and 30-35 to Burlington. We visited for a UVM graduation so went back and forth a lot. Overall house is large and spacious with some updated amenities like appliances. Master is beautiful but other rooms are tight. Road can be loud with cars at night. with some easy changes things would be more pleasant Upon arrival we immediately noticed that floors and windowsills were not swept and cleaned recently - which was……
