However, the pool is out of service during my stay and when I booked the hotel (just 12 hours before check in) I have not got any notice on this. What a disappointment.”

“It's late March 2025 and we have just returned from 8 nights on Banana Island (a couple aged 55 and 62), and enjoyed it immensely. We knew beforehand that it was during the month of Ramadan so not all facilities would be open - some of the restaurant options on the island were closed and most you needed to eat inside. On mainland the shops in the malls were all closed during the days but you could wander through them. This had the advantages of it being a bit quieter and we got 2 nights……
