“Our stay here was AWESOME!!! The staff was very friendly and check in/out were very easy. My wife and I stayed in the Carriage House which actually sits behind the main hotel which was a bit confusing initially. Our room was very spacious and sits above the Carriage House Sundries restaurant which has incredible breakfast! We bought a bottle of wine to take to our room the night before and the manager gave us 2 wine glasses to use in our room! Between the main hotel and the Carriage house……

“We needed a last minute booking as we were coming down to volunteer with hurricane relief and hadn't found lodging yet. Judith responded right away and allowed to us to book on juat a few hours notice. The guest house was cute and cozy, with so many extras (snacks, drinks, detergent, etc.). Even though the suite was attached to the owners house, it felt private and quiet. We had a great stay and would absolutley cone back! ”

They also need to explain that the 2 mile road is a narrow 1 car lane, we had to use 4 wheel drive on parts of it. “We loved this cabin! After a long day of volunteering with hurricane clean-up, it was nice to stay in a safe, quaint, and beautiful cabin. The driveway into the property was the only reason I did not give the "area around the property" 5 stars. However, I suspect the recent flooding is what made the driveway so bumpy. Overall, it was terrific, though! Ed was a great host!”
