“Great place to escape and be one with nature. Beautiful property and the cabins are extremely clean and comfortable. Owners are A as well. My wife and I are already planning a trip back with our hiking group.”

“The rooms appear to be recently remodeled. All new seemed very clean like fresh floors and paint etc. ”

“Expected better! Yard was not kept at all, very overgrown with weeds and poison ivy, so we couldn’t enjoy the fire pit. Inside on first and loft was nice. Basement bedroom had mold on the walls and only a bed, no furniture in it. Dryer was broken.”

“Very clean, comfortable bed. Only complaint is portable air conditioning units. They are big and loud. They do the job but we turned the one in the bedroom off at night so we could sleep.”

“The place looks better in person than the photos. We were delighted with the clean country cottage. It's very rural and quiet with lovely views. The water smells STRONGLY of bleach. Not sure if that's like that always or just because of the hurricane, but we didn't cook with it or drink it so it wasn't a deal breaker. Lovely soft landing after a hard day of hurricane clean up.”

“We loved this cabin! After a long day of volunteering with hurricane clean-up, it was nice to stay in a safe, quaint, and beautiful cabin. The driveway into the property was the only reason I did not give the "area around the property" 5 stars. However, I suspect the recent flooding is what made the driveway so bumpy. Overall, it was terrific, though! Ed was a great host!”
