“We had a wonderful stay in this recently remodeled house. The location was perfect -- just outside the hubbub of Lake Placid -- but close enough to make it convenient to run into town. The kitchen was recently remodeled and painted. The peninsula in the photos was removed, but wasn't missed. It opened up the room and plenty of counter space remains. “Snowy, cold winter weekend at a cozy, quirky real Log Cabin...family loved it! Impressive fireplace, games and books, large kitchen area for cooking and gathering. Close to The Wild Center, hiking and all ADK actiivities. 3 levels with 4 private sleeping areas. Beautiful screened in porch. Will be back in the Spring to enjoy the outside amenities!”

“The property was great. The cabin had everything that you could want.Colby lake was great for fishing. The only problem was the property was too close to RT 86. It certainly was not a quiet location. The light from the electric company on Rt 86 came on at 6:30 and were on all night.”

It snowed the whole weekend, and sitting in the warm living room looking out upon the scenery couldn’t have been more idyllic. The house is huge.
