“The property had everything I look for but ... I don't use plastic kettles & the cleaners use a product that leaves a mild smell in the unit, akin to a cheap perfume. I can't see why we need to fill our living spaces with the odour of artificial (chemical) scents - bottom line, they are toxic. What is wrong with fresh air ? Luckily it was mild and having windows open mitigated the use of such products. ”

“We spent three nights there and absolutely loved it. Our experience was fantastic, and we appreciated everything about the place. Although it isn't new, they have done a great job maintaining it. The service was excellent. We originally booked for five people but changed our reservation at the last minute. We informed the staff, so I only paid for the four of us and kept the same family room I booked. It is very convenient and closer to the Splash Planet. I recommend this hotel to anyone……

The setting and views are breathtaking. The main lodge has beautiful architecture, furnishings, and art. It is a pleasure to just walk around with a glass of wine and take in the surroundings. “Like : Convenient Location adjacent to downtown Hastings. Lots of parking space. Spacious room and bathroom to fit a family's requirement. All furniture and fixtures are very clean. Unlike : My room number is 20, closest to the Omahu road, and the traffic noise badly disturbed my sleep. Strongly suggest to avoid this room.”
