“This property is amazing because the rooms back up to Arenal volcano. In the morning, we had incredible birdwatching and were able to even see toucans. It’s walkable into town, approximately 2 km. But there are many dining options along the way. My husband and I are vegan and were very happy with our choices. The restaurant in hotel Magic Mountain offered a few vegan options as well. “We stayed in a junior suite plus with a beautiful view of the volcano. Our patio looked out on a gorgeous manicured garden. Every staff member we met was friendly, kind and helpful. Although there are no cooking facilities, there is a fairly good size fridge which came in handy. We were able to purchase simple lunch ingredients from the Maxi Pali that we took with us on hikes.
