“The hotel room was large and well furnished, though the bed was slightly uncomfortable and I think the mattress had seen better days. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and catered pretty well for our vegan diet, though the vegan milk options were somewhat limited. The hotel is ideally placed for access to Knaresborough town centre and had ample private parking. ”

“Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem.”

“The studio room we stayed in was lovely and cosy. Everything felt very high-end from the decor to the coffee machine. There wasn’t one thing I’d change. The free parking at the back of the building was an added bonus too. It was the perfect base to explore Harrogate Centre, 5 minute walk and you’re in the centre. Totally recommend this place and very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. ”

Only issue this time was someone clearly had too much to drink in the village and people were shouting in the early hours of the morning. This woke me and i struggled to get back to sleep, but nothing to do with the inn.”

“Very cozy for a solo traveller. I like it when BnB's cater for them in that the room was no bigger than it needed to be and bathroom had shower/bath. The breakfasts were excellent. Fresh fruit buffet with a big selection of berries, cereals and some ham and cheese. As well as this they offer fresh cooked full English and other things you would get at a restaurant. Finally the home made jams were great. I'd be taking some back if I wasn't flying with just hand luggage. Communal lounge area was……
