“We enjoyed our stay. The composting toilet is not something we are used to by any means, but with a lighted candle and the easy directions it wasn’t too bad! The bed was very comfortable and the hosts were extremely responsive. The fire wood was wet, our lighter was broken and they helped us right away. If I ever need to come back to the area, I would stay here. Thank you!”

Specific problems: bathroom faucet not attached to sink (how can cleaner not notice this?); welcomed by big running across pillow to be joined by a variety of others on the walls and ceilings (granted it's an old building and not dangerous insects, but little pest abatement); sheer curtains did not keep out light from parking lot shining on bed; several other examples of shoddy work with cheal materials, general lack of……

“Nice rental for our larger extended family group. Lake had a lot of algae as of august 2024 so didnt feel great about swimming but enjoyed the kayaks they had. This might just be a bad season for algae. ”
