“We got a free upgrade on our room which was a Fantastic start to our stay. They also left a beautiful happy birthday note for my husband and chocolates. Such a thoughtful gesture. The male bar staff were in particular so polite and genuinely helpful. They gave me a large bottle of table water to bring to my room complimentary when I asked if I could buy a bottle of water. Our room was huge with a balcony. We used the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and tropical shower with the LED lights. So cool!……

“The staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out. The morning breakfast in the White Oak Room was pretty good with a varied menu. The 2 bars were fine. Average bar food. The location was great. Within walking distance of everywhere including plenty of pubs, restaurants, tourist locations etc. etc. The public areas of the hotel were in pretty good shape and well kept. But the rooms were pretty old and dated. Especially the bathrooms which had one of those……

“We had a great family holiday at the hotel. Only downside was the maintenance works going on throughout the external area from car park building, painting external walls and Jurassic park was brilliant but also very much under construction. Feel some gesture or acknowledgement from management of the disruption would have been nice. ”
