When I checked in the staff didn’t seem to be welcoming and friendly. The staff assigned me to a handicap room. Exhausted and carrying all my belongings, with my dinner getting cold, I returned to the lobby to address the issue. The front desk staff claimed that I had booked a handicap room, which was untrue, and insisted it was one of the last available rooms with two queen beds.
I explained that I hadn’t booked a handicap room and didn’t need one, politely asking for a change. She seemed irritated by my request but eventually gave me a key to a different room. However, when I got to the new room, my key didn’t work.
Frustrated, I had to haul my belongings back to the lobby once again. When I informed her about the issue, she admitted that she had assigned me to the wrong room and then laughed. The entire experience was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing.
