“This place was peaceful. A little rustic but definitely not roughing it—standard hotel room with a sort of a Maine camp feel. The bay views were nice. I like the amenities (breakfast was decent, nice pool, little minigolf set-up) and there’s some decently cool stuff in Boothbay within roaming distance if you want to leave the property. Would def do this again. ”

“We had such a lovely time in Booth Bay thanks in part to the Tugboat Inn. True the rooms are a bit dated looking rather like mom's house, but the effect was to make it cozy. The bedding was cozy, a couch you could put your feet up on to read. I loved sitting on the private balcony looking out at the bay with windows open to the breeze. Best of all the price was affordable enough to get two rooms rather than 4 crowding into one with a lumpy fold out. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

“Very nice location on the water. Salt water pool available. Kayaking and paddle boards for use. Restaurant on site. Room was updated. Bathroom is small, but room is decent size. Parking is a bit tight but restaurant provides alternate parking if needed. We were on the bottom floor of the Anchor Building. I think I’d recommend top floor as we had a heavy walker above us. Overall, nice stay and we’d stay again. ”

“This is our 2nd trip to Boothbay, first time at The Thistle Inn, we stayed in the Crows Nest, as a family of 4. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious.
