"I had an excellent visit. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances. Everything was super clean; magazines and books were available (as well as good WiFi). "My mid-October stay at Little Thumb was everything I hoped for and more: plenty of peace and quiet, an immaculate and comfortable place to stay, and beautiful surroundings in which to birdwatch from the dock, read, and take long walks. I especially enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, comfy queen bed, and big gas heating stove in the living room that kept me toasty, even temps dipped into the 40s. And Natalie certainly deserves her rating as a top host!"

"This is a great home with lots of room, natural light, comfortable bedrooms and a back deck we'd spend hours on in the evenings. Having a full bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and the two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs also gave everyone privacy and downtime. The area is really quiet and walking distance from a path that runs alongside the water. The home is comfortable and roomy enough that being rained in for a day is no problem, and getting out to surrounding places is easy. "

"The stay was unfortunately related to a family medical emergency but the unit provided just what we needed. The main floor is tight but the loft bedroom is very spacious. The view is wonderful, though it is close to Route 1 so a little noisy with road noise while sitting on back deck"

"Everything was beyond expectations. The neighborhood was quiet. The stars were visible and a nice deck to enjoy the experience. Big back yard for the dogs to explore. The kitchen was large and well stocked. One of the best features was large windows throughout the house so you could take in stunning sunsets.We went to the Damariscotta Pumpkin Festival and it was a short drive away.The house is very classy and it has alot of interesting facts about its history.We would come back. "Location and property. Plenty of space for us all to spread out. Furnishings were comfortable. Very charming. Supplies were well stocked - everything we needed to cook. The yard was the best - fire pit, plenty of outdoor seating. Space to play in the yard, water access and great views. Very peaceful. The most amazing star gazing ever. We had a great stay and hope to stay again. The hosts even provided a lovely Thanksgiving gift for us which was much appreciated."
