Morgan terrific waitress first night and Charlie second night. Independent of hotel! Worth a drive to dine here. Excellent pricing creative presentations delicious!"

"I was very impressed with everything except for the cleanliness of my room. First, the front office staff are very polite. Second, the breakfast was a real sit down breakfast. They had grits, bacon, sausage, pancake, biscuits and gravy, home fries, coffee, juice, bagel and more. We appreciate the breakfast because it held us until we left the room. The gentleman serving the breakfast is supper kind too. Third, the shuttle service was amazing. We spent two days and long hours downtown and never spent a dime on parking. The two men driving the bus were amazing as well. The shuttle service is so valuable and a money saver. Now here's why I gave a 3 star for cleanliness. Our floor was dirty and needed to be mopped. My daughter walked around with her socks on and the socks were filthy. I asked the cleaning lady to mop the floor for us and she did. Honestly, it was still dirty after she did. The counters were a little dusty. And I found a hair on our shower curtain. There was a mildew smell when we walked in so we left the door open for about 30 minutes. I figured this smell came from the room not being used in a while. Overall, the hotel is old but a keeper. I would definitely stay here again because of the free parking, free breakfast, and the shuttle service. Those 3 things, made my stay memorable. Plus, it is walking distance to several stores/restaurants. "
