“A very cold and tired solo traveller welcomed a warm, clean and comfortable room with a large hot shower. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful in a very pleasant room. All in a a very nice stay. ”

“Such a wonderful place to stay, George couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful, the room was gorgeous with a real cosy country feel to it. Everything has been thought of, down to a towel and bowls for our dog. Breakfast was amazing! And the bar in the evening for drinks was welcoming and relaxing ”

“The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there. “23A High Street is a timber framed mid terrace cottage with ancient beams exposed inside. It is highly decorated with knickknacks with a hare theme.Knighton is a small very hilly quiet town. I had no difficulty finding free street parking, but spaces are limited. Tom loves to meet new guests, and he allows them free use of his well equipped kitchen. I will go again if there is another log show at Builth Wells (40 minutes drive) ”

“Overall good stay Checkin is 3-6pm which I didn’t realise during booking. Had to phone and wait to get let in as it’s all locked up. Can arrange a late checkin prior which I’ll do in future. The front rooms are within hearing of the village clock but didn’t give much issue. Rooms were good, plently if hot water and nice cooked breakfast from the friendly host Tim. ”

“Lovely location. Good parking for car. Big house near farms. Host welcoming. The breakfast was good and room very comfortable. The only downside was the smell of damp dog that permeated throughout the house. We kept the bedroom windows opened all the time. ”

“Great accommodation, very clean and well equipped 😊 Our hostess Jane was lovely. This was ideal for our weekend in and around Ludlow. Would definitely recommend annd return. Only slight drawback, is that there is no on site parking if this is very important for you. But there is cheap parking only a couple of minutes away. It was not a problem for us. ”

“I think the property is in excellent condition and the location is perfect, there is only one small problem the mattress will need changing soon but i would stay there again but for longer, i would recomend it to anyone including my friends and family ”

“Pleasant staff, nice room and excellent breakfast. The area is very quiet and the hotel has ample parking - very useful in a mediaeval town like Ludlow. It's only a few minutes walk into the town centre with its characterful pubs and historic building.”
