"Buses run from the resort to Duval street (3.5 miles south) every hour We rented an electric golf cart for the week from the “booking excursion desk” in the lobby It was very convenient and included parking spot and a charger inside the garage attached to the hotel "

"The daily shuttle service is a great amenity! It was easy to sign up for the time of day we wanted to head into town and the drivers were ALWAYS friendly and helpful. You could see that they genuinely enjoyed their work. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions, as well as offered suggestions for places to go and explained any logistics we made need to consider. I had stayed at this hotel a long time ago and, unfortunately in that time, the airport has grown in its flights, in that there are times during the day when a plane is taking off over the hotel and it is loud. That is really too bad, because this hotel has a ton of amenities (great pool!), excellent staff and service, and the noise may have others consider staying somewhere else. "

"My family and I loved our stay at The Gates. It was clean and comfortable and for the bill nicely when our departure flight was cancelled. The grounds were beautiful as was the pool. We hit The Blind Pig food truck for dinner and it was amazing! Staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. We’ll start again for sure."
