"I had booked double room on suite in the chateau. When I arrived I was given a room in the lodge & the bathroom was down the hall just for us . No where when I booked with hotels .com did it mention this . The chateau said it did but I checked my info & it didn’t . I was disappointed, as I paid to stay in the chateau ! The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. The room and bed were comfortable, but the kettle was a bit rubbish and not convenient to use (it was connected to the plug which was behind the television) The breakfast was pretty average, not the best but you had enough options.
