“Lovely B&B in a great location. 10 mins walk in either direction to shops, cafes and restaurants. The lake is just a few minutes more in the one direction. Car parking available. Lovely rooms. Very clean. Most comfortable nights sleep I've had in a very long time. (I'd love to know where the mattress and pillows are from so I can purchase for home) I arrived several hours early prior to check in and was allowed to leave my car whilst I went out for the afternoon. I was given my room key at this……

“Cosy rooms with modern bathrooms and set in a perfect location (only a short walk from the centre of Keswick). Felt very welcomed on arrival and throughout. Plenty of options for breakfast and set us up perfect for a days mountain biking. Thanks Liz and Chris for having us!”

“We booked this for our 14th Wedding Anniversary night away. Usually we have stayed on Bowness side but we thought we would try Windermere side for a change. We were certainly not disappointed! The suite was like an apartment suite - lovely & roomy. The suite facilities were amazing - for a relaxing night away especially when it was cold & raining outside, we didn’t need anything else - open fire, dining area, sauna, spa bath - all very relaxing and therapeutic- a calming atmosphere to break from……

"The location is great and nearby the ferry pier. But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered scrambling egg with smoked salmon toast, they said no more but I saw other customers have it, I thought smoked salmon and egg are very common foods in a hotel restaurant, I wondered why they can tell me no more stocks. I just can say this hotel not worth for money, they are overpriced. Staffs are not really friendly. "
