“We stayed in this new, beautiful and clean treehouse for 3 nights while we were in Denver for a concert. It was perfectly tucked away in the mountains, quiet and peaceful. “The location is gorgeous. They provided us with plenty of wood for the fireplace as well as propane for the outside fireplace and grill. “My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The drive was a bit scary at night as we are from Central Texas and were not expecting a steep and narrow road, combined with the snow we had already known was in the forecast. Other than the drive up the mountain, we have no complaints. Everywhere we planned to visit was close by and the views were amazing. The host was also amazing during our stay!”

“We arrived and were overcome with bad smells from the unairconditioned house being shut up in the heat for a long time. There were scores of dead bugs in every room of the house. We also killed a large spider. The master shower was covered with black mold. To get to the house was a five mile drive up a mountain with treacherous curves. “The rental was in a great location and updated nicely, but there were a few things that were not so great. On the main level, the bedroom with the bunk beds, the top bunk sheets had not been washed from the previous renters. The sheets were dirty & had a dirty sock in them at the bottom of the bed. Also the down stairs had a terrible smell with holes in the walls & the floor where the drain pipe was going down, was caving in.. The back yard was so nice though. “Great location, and well appointed however there is no thermostat control. It was set to 73 which was 65 in the downstairs apartment. A small space heater was provided and I was able to borrow a larger one. Also, because there is a window a/c unit, the window does not close and lock. (As a single female traveler, this made me a little uneasy). I would stay again- albeit in warmer months!”
