A well located hotel right in the middle of town and if you’re facing towards the lake, extra beautiful and very quiet. The only thing we really didn’t like was the fact that the HVAC system blew so hard with the fan that it was uncomfortable to have that kind of heat. Thankfully, we didn’t need very much, but it was overwhelming and very loud.

We have stayed at the Golden Arrow before, but it has been many years. We came up for an event, but decided to make a little mini vacation out of it and booked two nights here. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. The room was clean and comfortable. I love the recycling efforts very much. They included some K cups and a little Keurig, which was great for our first morning when we needed coffee right away. Our view was excellent. The layout of this hotel is very unusual and we loved it. My son took charge and figured things out quickly and then directed us where to go. 😆. We tried to eat at the Generations restaurant, but the first night they had a Private booking so we went somewhere else- and the next morning for breakfast they had a full buffet for $25 a person, but we weren’t hungry enough to go with that. But the menu did look good and we would’ve eaten there if it had worked out. Now for the cons, I have almost nothing except that in the wall next to my husband, it must’ve been every time someone flushed or showered…It sounded like a waterfall in there. It startled us the first few times. The only other thing was kind of a weird sound in the wall behind the bed, not sure if it was somebody’s TV. So it wasn’t super quiet or insulated- but otherwise all good and the beds were very comfortable!

Property is in a prime location and was very nice when built but is sadly in decline, beautiful oak furniture but finish ruined, bathroom door broken , shower would not shut off, toilet kept running, heat smelt, so bad had to turn off. Woman at desk didn't care. Was up sold the room and not worth the cost. Very nice location but tired.

We spent two lovely days at this resort. It is conveniently located for shopping and dining. They are right on Mirror Lake with kayaks paddle boards and row boats available. Peaceful and quiet place to relax while my daughter was hiking in the Daks.

L'hôtel au grand complet a besoin d'amour! Comme les animaux sont admis, il y a des odeurs dans les chambres. L'hôtel est toutefois bien situé et le personnel a été accueillant.

Everything was great and amazing. Safe for small kids (my two year old and 5 year old cousins absolutely LOVED it and they had life jackets that fit them perfectly). The lake was very clean as was the beach and overall property. There are many shops and restaurants that are ALL walking distance (I did not have to drive at all the entire trip). The only small issue I had was the A/C in the room was broken and instead of offering a new room or fixing it they just gave us a standing fan which I was iffy about, but I grew up in the Caribbean with no A/C, so it wasn’t a big deal to me, I just thought it was weird that they only gave us a fan instead of a different resolution… Besides that, it was an amazing stay!
