We have stayed at the Golden Arrow before, but it has been many years. We came up for an event, but decided to make a little mini vacation out of it and booked two nights here. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. The room was clean and comfortable. I love the recycling efforts very much. They included some K cups and a little Keurig, which was great for our first morning when we needed coffee right away. Our view was excellent. The layout of this hotel is very unusual and we loved it. My son took charge and figured things out quickly and then directed us where to go. 😆. We tried to eat at the Generations restaurant, but the first night they had a Private booking so we went somewhere else- and the next morning for breakfast they had a full buffet for $25 a person, but we weren’t hungry enough to go with that. But the menu did look good and we would’ve eaten there if it had worked out.
Now for the cons, I have almost nothing except that in the wall next to my husband, it must’ve been every time someone flushed or showered…It sounded like a waterfall in there. It startled us the first few times. The only other thing was kind of a weird sound in the wall behind the bed, not sure if it was somebody’s TV. So it wasn’t super quiet or insulated- but otherwise all good and the beds were very comfortable!
