“It was incredible at the Hillcrest. Martha and her family were so lovely and cared for us immensely. We were lucky to be there for the night when there were no other guests in the mansion, so we had the entire place to ourselves, and all of Martha's incredible hospitality. She whipped us up an incredible three course dinner at a moment's notice, and the breakfast the next morning was divine. “This stay wasn’t bad, overall, but the property is very unusual. The hotel itself has no office or attendant in the building itself but has an employee in the diner next door, and that is where one checks in and out as well. In addition, the property is two stories but has no elevator or any luggage carts. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. And the food at the diner was delicious. ”
