I never expected the quality of the St. Regis hotel to be so poor. I booked a three-night stay, and while there were no issues during check-in, the next morning I discovered that there was water pooling on the carpet and in the closet. Hotel staff suspected a leak from the bathroom, and they promptly moved us to another room. However, on the second night, we found that the air conditioning in the new room was not working. Maintenance checked it and found that the air conditioning unit was too dirty and needed cleaning. After about 30 minutes of repairs, it was functioning again, but by then it was already 10:30 PM. Unfortunately, that night the air conditioning fluctuated between freezing cold and warm, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Since we had already changed rooms once, I didn't want to go through the hassle of switching again. On the third night, the air conditioning showed problems once more, but fortunately, turning it off and then back on resolved the issue. Aside from the problems with the room facilities, the hotel's other amenities and food quality were satisfactory. However, the service in the breakfast restaurant on the second floor was lacking; many of the waitstaff appeared unenthusiastic and served guests with little to no smile.
