“Flew in for a funeral in Hawi. Just needed a place to sleep overnight before flight. Got there late, around 9pm after the funeral and going to “Laverne’s”(bar) which was less than 20 minutes away. Upon arrival I wasn’t sure which entrance to use. Owner’s son, I believe, came out to assist me get into the lockbox and into the unit. Maybe a little a little more specific instructions would help…. like: upon entering carport, unit is on the left front of house… up the stairs. Nevertheless, bed……

“Great location, very nice for walking to two different beaches. Was a bit noisy located just off Ali drive.”

“We loved our stay at Janet's home. The studio felt private and was very close to the beach. There is a beautiful outside area to use and Janet had beach amenities that greatly enhanced our stay on the big island! We would stay there again!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apparment is small, but so close to great snorkeling, that is easily within walking distance. You can see the ocean, but over the roof top of a near-by house. There are other rental properties surrounding you, so depending on who may be renting, that noise level could vary. Quiet during our stay and the host, Issacs was very helpful.”

“This place was pretty clean and a convenient location. Wish I knew they had all the beach equipment including 2 snorkel sets as we spent money renting those. We never did check out Bantans beach but the pool area was nice and right by Da Poke restaurant which was amazing. Very small peekaboo view of beach but not far to walk across and view sunsets and beach. Close to downtown Kona. ”

“Check in was super easy. Isaac is a great communicator. Photos of unit are accurate. Plenty of room for a couple. No A/C but room remained extremely comfortable with blinds and windows opened. Great location. Easy walk either to Magic Sands Beach for swimming/meal/drinks or to Kahalu’u Beach Park for snorkling. So happy Isaac provided beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and snorkling equipment. Previous, reviews about road noise left me concerned. My husband and I stayed from a Saturday to a……

“Good location. We did not get a chance to use the pool but it was quiet and near shopping and restaurants.”

“Our stay was great! We were out and about everyday so coming back to a secure property with guaranteed parking was perfect. There is no AC at the property (this may be stated), but we opened windows at night and it cooled off beautifully. Kitchen was stocked with essentials we needed along with 2 beach towels and beach chairs which was very appreciated! ”
