“This is a beautiful house with a spectacular kitchen, overlooking Hilo Bay and favorite local surf spot. Feels clean, comfy, and tropical. This is our second stay in this lovely spot. “The property was exactly as listed. The location was so serene and the landscaping was lush. We absolutely loved the visits from the chickens and listening to the coquis at night. The night sky was incredible due to no streetlights. The electric fireplace was perfect in the morning to take the chill off. “This cozy home was ideal for our 2-night stay to visit VNP as it was very close to the park entrance. The home was well-equipped for our stay; however, the grill did not heat up to a high enough temp to allow us to cook steaks we purchased for dinner. “We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again in the future. The location offers a private view of the ocean, to be enjoyed in a clean, warm jacuzzi. We saw plenty of sea turtles in the water and some dolphins too! We also found the drive to Volcano very reasonable and convenient. The hosts are wonderful communicators and provide everything so it's like you're at home!”

“Had a great time, the location of the house is just breathtaking, spent an age just staring at the waves crash against the rocks, saw turtles too! The house is a canny way of the main road situated in a quiet neighborhood, house well stocked. The only issue we had was the heat, we knew at the time of booking the AC was only available in the bedrooms but the lounge and dining areas we found too hot but us Brits just not use to the heat. The coqui frogs were amazing, in full tune all night.Pool……
