“This was a great stay for 2 adults and 2 children. Despite there being a sign up on arrival that there was a private event with music till midnight… I didn’t hear a thing, the rooms are nice and quiet, the pool was lovely to wind down in after a busy day, and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice, fresh and was replenished often. Parking is £7 for each night, and there is a bus stop on the opposite side of the road just outside the hotel to take you into York, the bus’s are every 15……

“Stayed at hotel for a random one night weekend family get away. I read the usual reviews prior to booking which was enough for me to take a chance. I must say, the hotel did not disapoint, the staff were friendly, hotel clean and the grounds were gorgeous. When you travel with children it can often feel like your in the way of other hotel guests, especially couples who are wanting that romantic trip away.
