“Found this rental while looking for a place to stay while attending a wedding on the resort. Dylan and Renee were super easy to communicate with and answered all my concerns in a timely manner. Super cozy and homey feel, I love how close yet still far enough from all the noise of the resort. Would definitely think about renting for the snow season since it’s right next to a lift. Plus the pools and hot tubs would be ideal after a long day on the mountain. Worth every penny! ”

“Very nice place with a warm cabin feeling. It has a small kitchen with a sink, stove, and counter . The place comes equipped with pots, pans, and microwave . Just bring your own cooking oils, spices, and plastic wrap and utensils like forks and spoons. This place has a fireplace, it was nice to have a fire while it snowed outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are also dog friendly. I would stay here next time! ”

“This was the ideal place for a week-long family ski trip to Palisades Tahoe. It worked out perfectly for my family of 3 and my brother's family of 4 (and certainly could have fit a few more). The unit was just as advertised, comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. It's just down the road from the resort and included with the stay is access to the Mountaineer, a free personal shuttle you can order from an app on your phone to the door of the unit straight to the mountain. “Great location. Close to the lifts. Love the fact that the large parking area was empty and full of snow when we were there, perfect for our dog to run around in a safe environment. The stairs was itself a workout as it was on the top floor. High elevation plus stairs, equals extra calories burned ”

“We came for a soccer tournament. This location was close to the fields. It’s a very cute cabin that you can go and relax. It has a nice hang out area outside which was great with the kids. The lake also is very close! We would stay again. ”

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful--we hit some local hills for early season sledding and they set us up with sleds and helmets. We will be back!”

“My husband & I were very happy with our stay at South Lake Chalet. The location was great, we walked to Heavenly Village everyday for shopping and restaurants. The room was nicely updated, cute little kitchenette and clean bathroom. Lots of thoughtful amenities & extras (earplugs & masks, makeup wipes, extra towels, etc). We had our dog with us and had no problems. Would definitely stay here again!”

“We were at Northstar for a wedding in July. The unit is extremely well-equipped with coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, dishes, great towels, shampoo and conditioner, etc. Bed and pillows very comfortable. One night the AC went out and we were unable to restart. Ultimately we flipped a circuit breaker and restarted. Owner very responsive, send repair crew next day (already solved). Suggest adding circuit label for AC (currently says HP-1) and add instructions to helpful notebook on what to……

“Great location between Lake Tahoe and Truckee and many golf courses in between. Precise instructions on where to park your car, but few on how to find the unit. It took me a half hour of wandering around to find the place. What check-in process? There is none. Also, no TV users instructions.”
